What is IIPC
The Beijing International Intellectual Property Convention(IIPC) will take place in Beijing on April 9–11, 2027.
Initiated by the Capital Intellectual Property Services Association, IIPC is an annual event, designed as an international platform for exchange and practical cooperation in intellectual property services, connecting the global IP community with China and the wider Asian region.
Drawing participants from around the world, IIPC brings together officials from intellectual property authorities, executives from innovation-driven and high-tech companies, renowned industry experts, senior representatives of prominent intellectual property service providers, scholars from universities and research institutes, and practitioners in the legal, compliance, investment and finance sectors. Structured around three core components—high-level conferences, innovation showcases and business matchmaking—IIPC focuses on intellectual property governance in international trade. The programme covers patents, trademarks, copyright, trade secrets, unfair competition and other major areas of intellectual property, featuring policy briefings, industry trend analysis, showcases of cutting-edge innovations, business networking and matchmaking.
For international attendees, IIPC offers opportunities to expand professional networks, explore practical cooperation and better understand China as one of the world’s most dynamic innovation markets.
